On Monday, June 24, 2019, Bernard Arteno, loving husband and father of three children, passed away at age 75.

Bernie was born on April 8, 1944 in Ravenna Ohio to Joseph and Catherine Arteno. He worked as a mechanic and engineer for 47 years. On October 19, 1985, he married JoDee LaScala. He raised three sons: Jon, David, and Dominic.

After Bernie retired, he developed a passion for woodwork. He built beautiful pieces of furniture for his house and family. He enjoyed collecting model trains. The family will be holding a private Celebration of Bernie’s life.

Condolences

My deepest condolences to the family at this difficult time. I hope the words at Rev.21:4 bring you comfort. It says: “God will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. JW.ORG
