A loss of a loved one is a burden that God never intended for us to endure. Through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin. (Romans 5:12) God yearns to bring back those who have died and are in his memory for them to live forever here on earth (Job 14:14,15). These words from God bring me comfort in my grief and may they bring comfort to you as well. Please visit jw.org (Search:Comfort)
St. Martin Academy in San Diego and La Mesa YMCA
Denise was my first friend at St. Martin Academy when our girls, Carly and Sara, attended. She welcomed me into the community and Sara and Carly have been best friends since. Even being in each other’s weddings. Denise also encouraged me to join the YMCA where she was an aerobics instructor and she encouraged me every day. Needless to say, Denise, Carly and PJ became instant family. We grieve for her family’s loss and know Denise is in a better place. What a beautiful example of a woman, friend, mother and role model. Denise brought joy to every occasion and was always there to help. We will miss her dearly. Our lives are better for having had her in it. God Bless. The Valine Family
With Heartfelt Sympathy
Our condolences to Carly and PJ and all of Denise’s family. We met Denise may years ago through St. Martin Academy in La Mesa, CA, where our children attended school together. Denise had a joyful spirit and generous heart. She was involved in many school activities including Girl Scouts. May she be at peace.
We send our thoughts and prayers.

Touching the lives of those she never met.
I knew Denise only through her adult children Phil and Carly – their beaming light, positivity and compassion made me feel a connection with Denise. Love and support for the coming days ahead. Laura
In loving memory
I knew Denise from Silverlake, and while she wasn’t my trainer, she never failed to brighten my day! She made a point of greeting each and every person as they came in to exercise. She frequently brought in flowers from her garden to add some color to the workout room. I miss chatting with her every Tuesday and Thursday after I finished my workout. She is truly one of the best people I’ve ever known and I’ll never forget her.

Denise was a very thoughtful and helpful individual. She treated each of her clients with dignity and respect. She gave them her full attention and she made sure that they were doing their exercises correctly.
SHE WILL BE MISSED!
