Florine Laake Stephany

Florine Laake Stephany, 94, of Edgewood, KY died on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. Florine retired from Delta Airlines, where she served as an executive secretary for 30 years. She was an avid card player and enjoyed traveling to various destinations throughout her life. Florine was preceded in death by her 1^sthusband, Donald Laake; her daughter, Karen Laake; her son, Don Laake; her siblings, Bob Luebbe, Tom Luebbe, and Mary Alice Forthman; and her 2^ndhusband, Harold Stephany. She is survived by her son, Dennis (Donna) Laake; her daughter-in-law, Patty Laake; and her siblings, Ruth Arlinghaus and Leo “Sonny” Luebbe. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Brian (Stephanie) Laake, Mark (Beth) Laake, Jeff (Amanda) Laake, Monica (Justin) Beavers, Karen (Brett) Gavin, and Joe (Farah) Laake; her 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Monday, November 5, 2018 from 5:30PM-7:30PM at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger.
