Melissa “Missy” Ann Eikelberger

Dear Ron, Alicia, Ronnie, Connie, Ed, Breanne and Shane, it has been years
since seeing you and I have lost addresses and am not on Social Media. This seemed the best way to contact. My husband Mike and I were so saddened to hear of Missy’s grave illness and passing. It was such a shock. We remember her as a fun loving, caring, funny and kind person. She was a wonderful wife to my brother through his many difficult years, never failing in her love and devotion and caring to a tragic end. My sincere appreciation to Missy and Ron (who loved and raised Alicia as his own) to parent Alicia into a lovely, smart, beautiful, caring mother and we are so proud. Our deepest sympathy to you all. We were so sorry we were not here, but out of the country and unable to attend the memorial. All of our love, Mike Burdge and Mike Fiorito.

I am still in shock. Missy was the first associate I met at ANC in ’94 & I learned so much from her. Her family always came first & she supported whatever was happening in her kids lives. As she has reached her eternal home, I pray that all of you heal quickly with the best memories & stories about her life & celebrate the legacy she left in you.

I worked with Missy at CHS for about 10+ years during the 2000’s- at the time the company was growing every year in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky and then on to later growth in the company. Always loved her spirit, enthusiasm, and “can do” attitude. May her peace, “heavenly surroundings”, and absence of suffering comfort you during these difficult days ahead. On behalf of the VNA Health at Home Lexington team, we want to express our most sincere sadness and grief for your loss. Many of us worked with Missy for almost eight years and she was always so patient, kind, and helpful! She always took the time to ask about our day and make sure that she provided the most excellent service to her stakeholders. It will be hard not see an email or her kind voice over the phone when we call the Milford office.

Missy was my Bearcats buddy at CHS. We often would talk about Huggy Bear (Bob Huggins) and always kept up with our team during basketball season. My heart goes out to all of you, and I will keep you in my prayers.

I am very sorry for the recent loss of your dear loved one, Melissa. I have a brief encouraging message I would like to share with you from the Bible. The Bible can be a great source of both comfort and hope during this most difficult time in your lives. For an example, at Revelation 21:3-5 it assures us that the day is soon coming when our most loving Heavenly Father is going to wipe away the tears of sorrow from our eyes and that even pain and death will be no more. I hope after reading this it will be of some comfort to each one of you.
