Jeanne Hertenstein

Jeanne Hertenstein nee: Ferrell, of Villa Hills, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2018, the night after her 92^nd birthday. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her devotion to family was unparalleled. Jeanne is remembered for her compassion, generosity and strength of will. She was a devoted volunteer for many causes including caring for patients at nursing homes such as Madonna Manor and St. Charles. She broke the mold as a successful real estate agent and business woman in the Chicago area.  Jeanne is preceded in death by her parents, Pola and Mary Ferrell; husband Herman; daughter, Mary Kinkade and sister, June Westaver. Her memory lives on in the hearts of those who survive her; daughter, Patti (John) Kanellis and  Tava (Mike) Schutter; grandchildren, Al (Darlene) Witschy, Kerin (Mike) Hentz, Emily Kinkade, Stephanie (Brian) Freeman, Garrett (Bre) Kinkade, Natalie (Kyle) Farley, Meredith (Dan) Birnstiehl and Tracy Schutter; great-grandchildren, Joey, Sara, Morgan, Abigail, Louie, Joelle, Naomi, Natasha, Waylon, Samaya, Ryder, Emmie, Josh and Jade; beloved companions, Tubby and Tommy. A service for Jeanne will be held Tues. Sept. 25^th, 2:00PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family would request donations be made in Jeanne’s honor to St. Vincent de Paul 2655 Crescent Springs Rd. Covington, KY 41017.
