Betty “Boots” W. Pauly

Betty “Boots” W. Pauly, 91, of Edgewood, KY, passed away Saturday July 7, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Care in Edgewood. Betty was an Executive Secretary for Cindus Corporation for 10 years, a founding member of St. Pius X Church and current member of St. Barbara Catholic Church. She coached softball at St. Pius, and was active with St. Pius X Athletic Association and Covington Catholic Boosters. Her father and brother were the only father and son duo to race against each other as trainers in the 1964 Kentucky Derby. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Pauly; her grandson, Justin Pauly; her brother, Robert Wingfield; and her son-in-law, Ray Bellew. She is survived by her children, Gary (Judy) Pauly of Cincinnati, OH, David (Patty) Pauly of Union, KY, and Peggy Bellew of Villa Hills, KY. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Brittany and Jordan Pauly, Chris Bellew, Heather Montgomery, and Kelsey Denny; and her great-grandkids, Cohen Pauly, Piper Pauly, Everett Janowiecki, and Maddox Montgomery. Memorial visitation will be on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 8:30AM-10:00AM at St. Barbara Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at 10:00AM at St. Barbara. Inurnment at St. Mary Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell.
