Thomas “Tom” Wayne Lyon
Thomas “Tom” Wayne Lyon, 64, of Elsmere, KY, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, in Edgewood. Tom most recently worked for Gates Gourmet at the Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky Airport as a porter. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas C. Lyon and Katie Frances Brewer Lyon and his sister Debbie Lyon. Tom is survived by his wife of 39 years Elizabeth “Betty” Teal Lyon, sons Christopher Thomas Lyon (Tiffany Gayle) and Matthew Wayne Lyon (Ashley Miles), and 7 grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 2pm until 6pm at Faith Independent Baptist Church in Hebron, KY. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation. Interment will be held on Monday, June 18, 2018 at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions can be sent to Shriner’s Hospitals for Children or any other children’s organization.
