Mary Alice Akins

Mary Alice Akins, 65, of Union, Ky, passed away on 9 October 2017 at the St. Elizabeth Inpatient Hospice in Edgewood. Mary, who was a gifted cook and an avid gardener, felt called to help others in need, and had a special place in her heart for abandoned cats. She was a member and a spiritual leader at the Divinity Spiritual Church of Fairfield, Ohio. Mary is survived by her husband of 34 years, Barry, and her son Christopher Merle, as well as by her brother David Donaghue of Roseville, California. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
